Weeklong Cruise, June 19 - 26, 2010

Thanks to Norma Stumpp, Dan McFadden, Ernie Bogusch, Valerie Bozzone and Winnie Nissley for their photo contributions!!

Day 1, June 19

We made it safely to Lake Ogleton; however, the (legal) ski-boats and PWC traffic made for a bumpy afternoon and evening.

Lady Z decided to take the cut behind Harte Miller Island
A freighter looks far away
And Cap'n Hubby keeps close watch on the ship
But those big ships can move VERY quickly and this one looms ever closer!
Cheri Lynn as she passes under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge
Hard to tell, but this is Carr Creek Marina near Annapolis, with sailboats galore!
Where's Joe Rolfes? He's not sleeping in THIS time!
First Light changed anchorage several times that first night
Adventure as she arrives at Lake Ogleton
Sunbreaks when entering the Magothy River
Stoney Creek Bridge
Borrows Dinghy
First Light and Bert and Ernie await the arrival of Lady Z at their second anchorage of the night...the reason for the change is in the foreground....rude powerboaters.
Adventure made several attempts to get her anchor to set...we've all been there.
Cap'n Don Conner takes care of some "honey-do" items he couldn't get to before departure. Here, he paints the registration numbers on his dinghy, Donnie Wayne.
Bruce Walls and Steve Knox from Isabel
Boat Princess Donna Rapkins looks in need of a good stiff drink! Baileys cream over ice, please!!
Steve Knox repaired back to Isabel to give plumbing advice to daughter Krista in New York.
Fleet Captain Mark Rapkins keeps his humor despite the heat and humidity as does Bruce Walls After dinner, Don Conner decides that a nap is not a bad idea Brave Warren Updike joins spouse Pattie, Norma Stumpp and Valerie Bozzone in search of Chocolate and they won't take NO for an answer!!
Who is that approaching our raft?
Sunset from Ogleton Bay
that was so nice, I thought I'd post it again! Love the colors...

By the light...of the silvery moon....
