Our Week-long Cruise to Solomons

June 16 - 23, 2006

Thanks to Norma Stumpp "Adventure" for providing many of the pictures you'll see here.

The "early" group left on Friday for Bodkin Cr.  Here is our raft on Bodkin Cr. "Salty Dog, Adventure, Lady Z." Where is "Isabel?"
The water taxi took a hungry crowd to dinner at Cheshire Crab, now under new management.
After some confusion about a table, we were seated for a fine repast.
"Isabel" appeared in the night off our raft.
Next morn, Bruce and Norma on "Adventure," try to dope out the mysteries of a smoothly hoisting main before departing.
We break-up the raft.  Doug is eager to get underway on "Lady Z.".
Making "way" down Bay.
Rounding Thomas Point Light, we head for South River and Selby Bay.
"Event Horizon" making her way.
An "Stargazer" is not far behind.
'Adventure" close hauled
Looks like the making of a race
Chazz and Marty coming into the raft on Hudson Cr., Little Choptank R.
It's not long before the party starts. The food was great, and there was plenty.
A warm Sun sets over a tired raft
