2005 Photos: June Week-long Cruise

This was an unusual cruise in that the boats participating changed nearly each day. We left Maryland Marina on Saturday, 18 June en route for Gray's Creek on Magothy.
Salty Dog and Adventure with Poole Is. in the background. Isabel was underway on the Gunpowder, and Spice Girl was heading to Baltimore planning to join us later.
After a pleasant sail down-bay and into the Magothy River, we found, to our pleasant surprise Knot Sure joined up on Gray's Cr. with full family aboard.
 This was Salty Dog's first overnight cruise with the club. We're happy to welcome Jack and Valerie to our most favorite pastime.
Valerie sure looks happy to start the best part of our day. Joanne Davis and Bruce Stumpp are right behind. Note the use of little umbrellas to protect the iced drinks from the damaging late summer sun. Knot-heads Charlie and Jay are first into the water and enjoy being pulled on the swim line.
Warr de Mar was the designated party boat. Here is the layout of goodies to be washed down with our various libations. Norma and Joanne, good buddies as they are, waste no time putting chow and beverage together. Jack Bozzone and Bruce Stumpp are deep in conversation over ahhh... who cares?
Sunday morning on Gray's Cr. Joe Rolfes stands a solitary watch; not much amused by the photographer. Jack is keeping a low profile under the watchful eye of "His Woodness" and Fleet Captain, Capt'n Wood Charlie and Jay have revealed their true intent to commandeer the Fleet.
Norma has all the right stuff to put a smile on the face of young children. Fret not, they're not nearly as vicious as they look. Charlie and Dad Davis prepare to depart the raft. Happy Father's Day, Dad. Thanks for sharing it with us. Here we are lined up at Knapp Narrows Marina. Dark clouds threatened rain that never materialized. We are charmed.
