2005 Photos: Independence Day Cruise

We saw fireworks and we saw fireworks. On Middle River in Galloway Cr. there were 360 degrees of fireworks from private displays ashore followed by a great display curtesy of the Marine Trades Association. On Swan Cr. the next night, there were more private displays followed by the display at Rock Hall which we could see very well from our anchorage on Swan Cr. There were as many boats on Swan Cr. as I have ever seen.

Boats attending were: Adventure, Aeolus, Cheri Lynn, Cocopelli, Lady Glendale, and Warr de Mar. Seen on Middle R. for the fireworks on Saturday were also Southern Cross and Spice Girl.

If you've ever anchored on Swan Cr. this gives you an idea of just how crowded it was Bruce & Norma on Adventure get the dink "Venture" ready to go. We think Doug of Cocopelli is very comfortable and content in the water.
Terri is giving Neal from Aeolus rowing instructions, "stroke, stroke,..." The crew and captains gathered for chat session. A favorite pastime. Our newer members Kevin and daughters from Lady Glendale. Welcome people.
Can you see the pinks in that sky? Swan sunsets are usually spectacular. Here is our raft as viewed from my dingy in the morning. Can you make out Doug and Sidney on Cocopelli?
Cheri Lynn and Don on Cheri Lynn, enjoying the cool morning. Lynn loses no time on her stitching. Norma and Bruce on Adventure. Dingy adventure time is over. Time to read. Terri and Neal relax on Aeolus after Neal nearly drowns his mate during dingy lessons. The lessons came in handy, though, as Neal found it necessary to take his anchor for a dingy ride a 5 a.m.

Our cruise mascot "Fenster" is never far from Norma on Adventure. Lady Glendale and Cheri Lynn racing across the bar out of Swan Cr. And the winner is???
